Presentation a holy and foresighted diocesan priest on 1924. Ours is a Latin and Pontifical Rite. Alleppey is situated in the coastal belt of Kerala surrounded by Arabian Sea on one side and backwaters on the other side. A man of vision and mission, our founder felt the need of starting a new Congregation for the up liftment and integral development of the poor people.
Touched profoundly by the devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and moved by the spirituality and apostolate of the Visitation Congregation founded by St.Francis De Sales and St. Jane De Chantal, V.Rev. Fr. Sebastian L.C. Presentation laid the seed of the Visitation Congregation at Alleppey.
The spirit of the Congregation is primarily to achieve God experience, is centered on the love experience of Jesus on the cross. Like Jesus Christ, gentle and humble, we are call to practice the spirit of deep humility before God and gentleness towards our neighbours.
